抄録

It was at the end of the 19th century that the movement for establishing non-profit theatre originated in Britain. Despite the long history of Charity, the establishment of theatre charity had to wait until the end of the World War II. Its experiences of trials and errors have been suspending the current system of theatre charity in concept, and, on the other hand, seem to show its limitations in practice.
