抄録

I would like to state the factor in working, for middle aged women who work as temporary staff members from the case study, although most of the non-full time workers are middle aged women who are married and work at a part time job. I classified the result of the research into four categories. They are "the type of woman who makes a point of her life, " "the type of woman who prolongs her career, " "the type of woman who is eager to work and hopes to work for many hours, " and "the type of woman who works flexible hours." After I stated each characteristic, I considered the difference between people who work part time and people that work as temporary staff members at the supermarket. Then I found out the characteristics of people who work as temporary staff. Two reasons for working as a temporary staff emerged through the research: one of the most important things is a higher hourly pay, another is that they want the flexibility of employment which is different from part time jobs. In addition, the difference from people who work part time is that they don't work for their children.<BR>Pre-research says that temporary staff members make a point of putting their families first. To work as temporary staff at the supermarket is one of the new ways of working for middle aged women.
