説明

In this section, the plethysmography standardized in a series of the present experiment was applied to patients who suffered from peripheral vascular diseases.<BR>1. Spontaneous variations in an amplitude and a base line of the plethysmogram were very poor in a Buerger's disease differently from that in a normal subject.<BR>2. As to a wave form of the plethysmogram, a crest time lengthened, a half decay time shortened, and the wave form became monophasic due to disappearance of a dicrotic notch.<BR>3. A propagation time of pulse wave became shorter than the normal control value; 0 218sec (0.183-0.253sec) for a finger, 0.308sec (0.197-0.362sec) for a toe.<BR>4. There were marked changes in patterns of variations in a base line and an amplitude of the plethysmogram when an extremity under test was raised or lowered from a heart position.<BR>5. In a vasomotor reflex by sensory stimulation, a base line of the plethysmogram shifted to a direction of vasodilation in contrast to that in a normal subject.
