抄録

Many tea fields in Shizuoka suffered severe frost damage on March 30, 2010. The minimum teabush surface temperatures in eight tea fields were investigated. Without any anti-frost equipment, the surface temperature was near -7.5°C . With frost fans, they were between -5.8°C and -3.4°C . Infields equipped with sprinklers, they were between -2.7°C and -2.0°C . We present nine photos of the typical frost damage with detailed descriptions.
