Abstract

Regarding field exercises and education in psychiatric social worker training, this paper discusses the background of the new curriculum began in 2012, to teach practical skills that are required in the environment surrounding the psychiatric social workers. Next, it describes the contents and overview of practical education, using exercises that the author has used. And finally, issues in field education for psychiatric social worker training, student needs, and the role of the university in continuing education are discussed.
