Abstract

 Targeting the export promotion of Japan's marine products, the author has clarified, by analyzing related statistical data and interviewing the persons concerned, that the port serves an appropriate means of transport and shipping routes to export marine products and would expand its function to provide the stable and fresh products safely and economically to overseas consumers with methods of freshness retention and highly-efficient logistics measures developed or in collaboration with the base port for fishing.
