Abstract
We have a lot of traffic accidents in residential area. In Japan, we tried to traffic calming projects and have a good effect on narrow area. But, recently the area were possible to become larger. In this study, we tried to questionnaire used residential road maps and find out the effect to decide the speed limits from the view of residents. The model shows “center line” and “separation walkway from roadway by railing or planting” effect to decide the speed limits.
