Description

The generalized calculations of the bending of the laminated wood-beams having a rectangular cross-section are studied. Some practical computations are also explained in a table. The deflexion of the beam bent beyond the proportional limit can be determined by using the relation of moment between Young's modulus of bending in the plastic conditions. Some practical equations determining the deflexion are also given.
