Among the 409 companies, a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) have been formed or taken into consideration by only 9 companies, namely those are equivalent to 2.2% of the whole. On the other hand, it was confirmed that 60 companies, equivalent to 15%, are planning or intending to make up a BCP in the near future. However, the three-fourth of these companies is so-called a small-scale company. In order to promote the company disaster prevention at its type of companies, it is necessary to establish a public system for supporting them from administrative, financial and technical points of view. Demands which were presented by the small-scale companies are summarized as follows; 1) cultivation of human resources in charge of disaster prevention, 2) a financial support, 3) provision of detailed risk information and 4) reduction of risk of public infrastructure.
