説明

In order to make the near-zero-expansion double phosphate ceramics, the powders of solid solutions of MgTi4 (PO4) 6 (MTP) and NaTi2 (PO4) 3 (NTP) : Na2xMg1-xTi4 (PO4) 6, were prepared by sol-gel process. The formations of the solid solutions were confirmed by comparing the lattice parameters calculated for the products with those of MTP and NTP. The specimen with X = 0.5 which was prepared by calcining the obtained powder at 700°C for 1 h and by sintering the compact at 1200°C for 5 h possessed a relative density of 91%. The thermal expansion coefficients of the sintered specimens with X = 0.4-0.6 were 0.21-1.0 x 10-6°C-1 in the range from room temperature to 700°C and the bending strengths were 21-62 MPa.
