Abstract

This tunnel is provided for double track railways for SHINKANSEN.<BR>Total length of GORIGAIIINE TUNNEL is 15.2km. Construction work site has been divided into four sections. TOGURA work section is planned to exacavate approximately 5km, after exacavation of the 620m horizontal shaft, the exacavation work is carried out rapidly by means of the total section blasting method by NATN, by full use of the large motordriven loading shovel and 6-boom gantry jambo crane.
