抄録

The second Ueno Tunnel extends for 1, 245 meter with 19 meter overburden on the average, and its outer diameter is 12.66 meter. The tunnel was constructed by hand mining compressed air type method.<BR>During construction, we measured the earth and water. pressure around the tunnel and stress of the shield segment rings.<BR>The instruments to measure these values are still remainded, so we measured them again with the instruments 10 years after construction.<BR>In this paper we explain results of the long term field measurements.
