Description

Purpose<BR> A method to punch automatically any figured blanket card has been explained in Parts 1 and 2. Normally, a blanket consists of two kinds of textures, but figured cloth consists of more than two kinds of textures.<BR> The present article concerns an experiment on a method to remove electric current from each colour of a four-colour design, instead of from a four-texture design. Also dealt with is a method to make punching solenoid work.<BR> Results<BR>(1) To distinguish electrically between four colours, each colour with its suitable reflection was selected.<BR> Colour Index of reflection=Photo electric power<BR>White 100%<BR>Light Yellow+Chrome Orange 80<BR>Light Red+White 10<BR>Blue or Black 2<BR>(2) The relay was constructed and adjusted to act in proportion to the electric current from each colour.<BR>(3) The design was painted with selected colours and electric current was removed from each colour by means of the electric converter and recorded for each colour by a recording apparatus. The design was reproducible almost completely.
