The number of individuals of the insect of Lepidoptera was examined by the method of the route- census and the collection by light-trap in the alpine zone (2342-2702m) of Mt. Norikura (altitude 3026m) in the middle of July and in the late of August, 2008. Thirteen families 53 species were recorded by the investigation for four days. The record of five individuals of Catoptria viridiana will be paid to attention. The number of individuals of Entephria caesiata nebulosa was lot of records among alpine moths' species. Besides, Eupithecia veratraria, Chersotis cuprea japonica, Papestra biren and Syngrapha ottolenguii were confirmed a little, and other high mountain moths were not able to be recorded by this investigation. It is thought that global warming has an influence on living of an alpine species, and the recorded number of species was little at current year to the influence of it. The investigation has not been done enough for alpine moths yet, and more investigations are necessary for clarifying the history of life including the search for an unconfirmed species. To make it to material that considered the living situation of an alpine species, the rate of all record species and an alpine species (It was assumed the confirmation rate) was requested. The confirmation rate of 2007-08 years had risen when having compared it with the data of 1980 years. This was thought to be result of not only a decrease of an alpine species but also a decrease of the number of Lepidoptera insects that went up from the low altitude ground. Xestia speciosa is a lot of before has decreased now. It was judged that the occurrence of an individual's alpine species changed greatly in the high mountain zone.
