Description

Yunnan-guizhou plateau is called "Ethnic way". Various races' various ethnic cultures are progressed in the various climates and terrain. Rice farm various races migrant from the middle reaches of Hwang Ho region like a Miao family etc. are included in that.<br>This study performed a field work in the village of rice farm peoples live in Yunnan-guizhou plateau as Miao, Ton, Buoy, Zhuang, and Yao, and clarified the diffusion of the dye and its regional characteristics. The result is as follows: 1) Dyeing the cloth repeatedly until becoming black and dyeing red on black cloth repeatedly is done actively in the plain where the water resource is abundant. On the other hand, batik dyeing is handed down in lack of water resources in mountainous areas. 2) Ton, Buoy, and Zhuang are distributed in the plain a lot, and have formed the various dyes from of old. The Miao family was distributed in the mountains part a lot, absorbed the culture of the dye of the above mentioned race, and invented various regional ties.
