Abstract

A case of secondary syphilis in a young female with slightly raised white lesions on the tongue and erythematous papular on the palm was presented. Based on the positive reaction for the serological tests for syphilis, she was diagnosed as secondary syphilis and oral administration of bacampicillin was thus started. Subsequently, the eruption of the tongue and palm was disappeared and negative conversion was seen in the serological tests. Recently, cases of syphilis with oral mucosal eruption as a primary symptom are increasing. Therefore, syphilis can be a sexually transmitted disease to which we should pay attention.
