Description

A new genus of the miogypsinid foraminifera, Tania is proposed from the Miocene Miogypsina Sandstone of the Lower Formation, Bihoku Group, Okayama Prefecture. Tania inokosiensis, n. gen. and n. sp. is selected as the type species.
