Description

Pretensioned concrete is, in most case, steam cured at high temperature. In this case, breaking of the exposed tendon and additional loss of prestress may occur by curing concrete. Almost on investigation in the problem, however, has been done. This report describes the experimental and analytical studies on changes in tensile force of the prestressing tendon and additional loss of prestress by steam curing pretensioned concrete at high temperature.
