Description

Thin copper-plates and CuSO4 solution were tested as a slug repellent. The slugs used in this experiment were Limax marginatus which were collected at the Kobe University campus on April 10, 1979. The results are as follows: 20mm-width copper-plates and more than 10mM CuSO4 solution almost repelled the slugs and this behavior suggested copper-plates or CuSO4 solution may be used as a slug repellent.
