Japan Oceanographic Data Center (JODC) has been carrying out the activity of oceanographic data and information exchange as National Oceanographic Data Center of Japan under the framework of International Oceanographic Data and Information Exchange (IODE) promoted by Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO, and is challenging an establishment of new international project for promoting IODE activity in Western Pacific area. In this paper, the trend of international project about recent oceanographic data management and the outline of data exchange by JODC are reported, and recent topics about oceanographic data are also reported.
