Abstract

This paper summarizes the lecture presented at the lecture meeting for a Ten-day Telecom Campaign. The author understands that we have gained an outlet for Heisei stagnation, and describes how advanced technology will be linked to Japan's economy after the business looks up. At first he explains restriction factors of economic growth in Japan after stagnation is over; aging of population, environmental issues on the earth, declined technology introduction. To overcome those issues we need to develop our own advanced technology and grow them as industry. He also describes that advanced technology can be developed and made industrialized in Japan, and social issues or matters to be minded when we link such technology to industry.
