Description

A man, 57 year-old, was admitted to our hospital, complaining of symptomless hematuria. X-ray examinations revealed double renal pelvis and incomplete double ureter on the left side. Hemogram of peripheral blood and bone marrow demonstrated acute myelogenic leucemia. After the left side nephrectomy, hematuria ceased. The kidney proved to have had a simple hemorragic cyst of multilocular appearance, and histologically was infiltrated with leukemic colony. Classification and genesis of the simple renal cyst, and causes of hematnria of our own case are dicussed.
