抄録
The terms and concepts of rights cannot be found in ancient Japan. Therefore, rights are interpreted differently in Japan and Western Europe. It is said that the Japanese do not have any concepts of rights. The Japanese idea of rights does not have include concepts such as "faithfulness" and "honesty". Based on these, I consider right of way from Japan's perspective. As a method, I decided to study "crossing rules" and "rules of miscellaneous vessels" in detail. The purpose of this paper is to investigate Japan's concept of "right of way" based on these navigation rules to reveal any related problems.
