Abstract
The first requisite in a collision avoidance for ship is to catch a degree of collision risk. It is necessary for finding a collision risk to consider about sensor error, target's vector change and own ship's ability for avoidance. Here, the effect of sensor error on analyzed target vector was solved, and the possible collision risk (PCR) which was the value to show a degree of collision risk considering about sensor error effect, target's vector change and own ship's ability has been introduced. After simulation appropriated the possible collision risk to radar navigation, evidence has been given that the possible collision risk was convenient to show a degree of collision risk in radar nagivation.
