Abstract

Pregnancy related vomiting, motion sickness and dizziness were studied with questionnaires to 45 pregnant women. Nausea and vomiting was thus found to occur in 39. The incidence of pallor, palpitation, cold sweating, headache and dizziness was 21%, 15%, 21%, 21% and 54%, respectively. The symptoms of vomiting in pregnancy seemed to be similar to those in motion sickness. Motion sickness occurred most strongly in 10 while dizziness had appeared more severely in 7 after pregnancy. Those findings thus suggest that pregnancy clearly influences motion sickness and dizziness
