A case of forestier's disease with dysphagia

Description

A case Forestier's disease (58-year-old male) with dysphagia is reported. Rentogenogram of the cervical spine and CT revealed anterior osteophyte bridging from the C4 to the C6 vertebral bodies. Esophagogram showed impairment of the bolus passage and a slight degree of aspiration. The exuberant bone was excised via a lateral cervical approach. After surgical treatment the dyaphagia disappeared. The findings of the esophagogram were almost normal.
