Description

This paper is the record of a lecture at Hokkaido Technical Information Seminor. Author describes the projects of "Advanced information processing of large scale data over a broad area" and "Formations process of information systems and organization of scientific information," which have been undertaken in collaboration with universities in Japan. In human history, intellectual progress of mankind has closely related to the advancement of intellectual activity such as information retrieval. As an example of systematization of information author takes "Sentence retrieval in the references" which was undertaken in the process of the projects, and lastly says that the advancement of systematization of information will make the high-level information retrieval possible.
