Abstract

The investigating method proposed by this report carries out retrieval by the natural sentence of the investigation subject, and uses as the first step to obtain the search set by the patent classification which extracted the patent classification given to the patent journal of the high relevance value in the natural sentence search set. Next, an important patent map is created by extracting the important patents from the search set of the first step by the legal status information. In the final step, the logical product by the patent classification and the keywords is searched. This investigating method was verified with the example about the technical field for the fabrication of the electrophotographic toner using the StarPATTM.
