Abstract
<p>This paper investigates the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. The paper focuses on individuals’ perceptions of the psychological bond with organizations, in particular, as previous studies have mainly examined dyadic relationships and premised that people are aware of their relationship with their organizations when they are engaged in organizational citizenship behavior. Considering this, the paper explores the role of a mediator that organizational commitment plays by using multilevel analysis. The results show that transformational leadership has an effect through organizational commitment on the followers’ organizational citizenship behavior.</p>
