Description

The relationship among leadership of team leaders, shared leadership and team performance are examined in this study. The results of the study reveal that both transformational leadership and gatekeeping leadership are positively related to shared leadership, while a correlation with gatekeeping leadership is stronger. Moreover, the results indicate that shared leadership is positively related to team performance, although the correlation is moderated by task uncertainty in such a way that shared leadership has a stronger relationship for higher task uncertainty.
