Description
Emission of CO2 by the sector of transport has increased for many years and is predicted to increase in the future. It is important to stop increasing the emission of CO2 as well as to improve the convenience of transport system. This study aims to analyze the change in CO2 emission due to the improvement of high mobility networks in Japan from 1960 to 2000. In the analysis, we could show that the amount of CO2 emission has a strong relationship with the improvement of transport networks for past 40 years. The results of analysis supply valuable data and information when we consider the transport networks over the national land in the future.
