Abstract

Three patients with pyriform sinus fistula are reported.<BR>Case 1 was a 62-year-old man, case 2 a 52-year-old man, and case 3 a 12-year-old girl. All three had recurrent neck sweeling since childhood. They were treatedsurgically, but neck swelling recurred. Fistulas from the pyriform sinus were demonstrated on esophagography and were diagnosed as pyriform sinus fistulas. None have recurred since the fistulas including a part of the thyroid were excised.
