Description
<p>Due to the increase of civil action, the importance of digital forensics has been increasing. Digital forensics is defined as the technology and procedure to collect and analyze the electromagnetic record which can be used as evidence for the future trial in a case of occurring various incidents. First, this article describes definition and procedure of the digital forensics. Next, the procedures of digital forensics on the preparation stage, data collection stage, data recovery stage, data analysis stage, and report making stage for the information leakage caused by internal injustice are explained. Then, after showing various classification axes and the perspective of digital forensics, main technologies for digital forensics such as data recovery technology are explained in some detail. Last of all, we deal with the technologies whose importance will increase in the future such as network forensics.</p>
