Description
For total luminous flux measurement of LEDs, the total luminous flux standard lamp is usually applied however, as construction and energy converting processes of LEDs are largely different from those of conventional light sources, there can be seen several additional investigation points. As one of them, total luminous flux measurement system using an integrating sphere with an external standard source has been investigated. A measurement system consisting of an integrating sphere with circular aperture and external spectral irradiance standard source was investigated. By this new system, a deviation of total luminous flux value from values with the conventional system was less than 5 %. New investigative points for this new system could have been made clear.
