Description
Subjective experiments were conducted in the experimental house with mirror duct system in Fukaya, Saitama to identify the visual environment in a space daylit from mirror duct system. Subjects compared the appearance of a salad illuminated by daylight from mirror duct system and that by fluorescent tubes. Moreover relative spectral distribution was measured in each room with mirror duct system in the experimental house. It was found that general color rendering index varied from 70 to 99 with time. It was also found that a salad illuminated by daylight from mirror duct system looked much solid and natural than that by fluorescent tubes.
