Abstract
In this report, the basic characteristics of a white luminescence inorganic EL element were measured under various conditions. <BR> The square wave voltage drive is not suitable, because the inrush current flows to the EL element, and an excessive stress hangs. <BR> When drive in sine wave is compared with a triangular wave, the luminescence efficiency by a triangular wave is slightly higher than the sine wave. <BR> The Impedance of the EL element increases decreasing in the luminance of the EL element. When a present this, a longevity characteristic is considered, the half - life of the appearance can be extended by driving with the constant current circuit.
