Abstract
To disclose the property of the oxatetramethyleneethane (OTME), <br>an oxa analogue of tetramethyleneethane, <br>we carried out DFT or ab initio calculations of the parent or <br>aryl-substituted OTME, and product analyses or spectroscopic studies of <br>the aryl-substituted OTME. <br>In this presentation, we will discuss the molecular geometry and <br>electronic character of the parent or aryl-substituted OTME. <br>
