高校生の制服に関する被服管理の現状を把握し、適切な衛生意識の向上と改善につながる教材の開発を目的として、衛生意識と被服管理に関する調査·研究を行った。公立高校生103名を対象とし、質問紙法によって調査した。制服の着方、アンダーウェア着用の有無、洗濯の頻度などの実態をもとに生活習慣との関連性を明らかにした。高校生の衛生に対する意識は高いものの、被服管理を保護者任せにしているものが多く、適切な被服管理行動は取れていなかった。着用者の実態を踏まえた上で適切な被服管理方法を提言する必要があることがわかった。
