Description
This paper introduces an efficient synthesis of poly(arylene vinylene)s by ruthenium catalyzed acyclic diene metathesis (ADMET) polymerization in the presence of chain transfer reagent. The efficient synthesis has been achieved by addition of chain transfer reagent (bifunctional internal olefins) during the polymerization; further addition at the final stage and conducted (the chain transfer) at room temperature afforded the desired polymers quantitatively.
