Abstract
We developed the environmentally benign synthetic method of aromatic urethane from amine and carbon dioxide without toxic and corrosive phosgene. Specifically, we have succeeded in the reaction of aniline and tin alkoxide in the presence of carbon dioxide (5 MPa) gave the corresponding aromatic urethane in the yields up to 80%.
