Description
Impact craters in active regions are discussed at Xining districts in P.R.China. The distinct craters did not report, because of no original structure survived at higher place. From topographic and geological analyses, and sample collection with ASEM and XRD analyses, there are two candidates of impact structures in China , Qinghai Lake and Xining City. We found meteoritic fragments of Fe-Ni-Co grains in brecciate limestone and shatter cone-like texture at circular structures of western part of Qinghai Lake, Qinghai Province, P.R. China. Xining city shows quasi-circular structure broken by three rivers and fault lines with central peak, together with shattercone rocks and melt brecciated rocks and Fe-Ni grains.
