Abstract

3-D structure of the kolk-boil vortex is complicated to measure experimentally, therefore, we tried to conduct the x-z viewpoint PIV&PTV measurement for the kolk-boil vortex on sediment-laden flow. We highlighted the velocity vectors around the boils and the sediment trajectory to discuss the fluid-particle interaction in the kolk-boil vortex.
