Abstract
In this talk we consider viscous incompressible flows in the half plane equipped with the no-slip boundary conditions for velocity fileds. By using the Fourier-Laplace transform we derive the solution formula for the associated vorticity equations. Based on this solution formula we develop the mathematical theory on the solvability of the vorticity equations or on the behaviors of vorticity at the vanishing viscosity limit, where the high creation of vorticity occurs in the boundary layer.
