Abstract
This research proposes the direct control design method of structural bearing force with Genetic Algorithm and Piecewise-Linear Method. Piecewise-Linear Method is based on load incremental method, in which the local buckling phenomenon is considered by using the characteristic of elastic buckling. Through some numerical examples, it is clearly shown that the proposed method can design bearing force for space frame structures.
