Description
We have investigated the discoloration and corrosion of commercially pure titanium in peroxide-containing alkaline solution. This study was evaluated the change in discoloration and glossiness of titanium alloys in active oxygen-type denture cleanser. The results suggested the commercially pure titanium, Ti-6Al-4V, and Ti-6Al-7Nb alloys indicated larger degree of discoloration and reduce of glossiness than Ti-20Cr and Co-Cr-Mo alloys.
