- 遠心模型実験によるシートパイル基礎の耐震性能に関する研究(その2)
Description
A new bridge foundation named "Sheet-pile foundation" is proposed. Sheet-pile foundation consists of a footing and sheet piles surrounding the footing. By installing sheet piles into the ground around the footing and connecting together, both overturning and sliding resistance of the foundation against the seismic action will be increased.<br>In this paper, effect of length of the sheet pile was investigated as well as the mechanisms of its seismic resistance. 1/25 scaled models with rigid connection system were tested in this case.
