抄録

In former report, the authers dealt with the dynamic response of a steel stack of electric power plant with 120m height for EL CENTRO Earthquake (May 18, 1940). But every bind of damping force was neglected in its analysis. Therefor, the authers, as one of the successive work, analysed the dynamic response of the same stack with damping force. The various pattern of damping force and numerical values of damping coefficients were considered, and for these case, the maximum dynamic responses were calulated to make clear some aspects of dynamic behaviour of the tall structures.
