In the modern society of today,a small living space is inconvenient and make people feel the mental pressure.Therefore, effective use of space and functional furniture has become the essential things in modern life. The multi functional furniture which has extremal functions and can express users‘s  individual is ideal one for modern society. In this study, learning out charm elements of functional furniture through experiments that compare the impression of functional furniture in university students of Japanese, Chinese and Korean.
