Abstract

In this report, "La Japonaise" by Claude Monet, "Plates: Service Parisien" by Felix Bracquemond, "Head of Japanese Monster" by Emille Galle, "Peacock Room" by James A. M. Whister and "Vase with Design of Kabuki Actors" by Minton & Co. are introduced as a case study on Japanesque style in France and England around 1876. The artists of them have an important role in the history of new weaves getting many sources from Japanese art and decorative art in the late 19th century.
