Abstract

This paper is to introduce and summarize the report on the “Connekid! 2016” recreational event organized by Sapporo Station General Development Co., Ltd. and students volunteers from Sapporo City University School of Design from 11am to 4pm on August 6, 2016. In an effort to nurture compassion, the event has also used “flowers” in a variety of games. It chooses elements necessary for a flower to grow, for instance, soil, water, and sunlight, as motif for indoor games, while outdoor games concentrate on deepening understanding/interest toward ways of caring for flowers.
